BODYSUITS

I often wear specific bodysuits during live performance pieces as well as during personal creative practice. The painted bodysuits are born from flow, presence, and intuition and as such, exist as significant reminders of the live experience, the body movement, the colors, and the agency of the female body.

Black Bodysuit (Red, White, and Pink paint). 2019. A performance artifact created during a movement ritual devoted to healing my body after a surgery for endometriosis. (Custom Framed)
Nude Bodysuit (Blue, Copper, Teal, and White paint). 2019. A performance artifact created during a live performance painting in Charleston, SC. The painting and performance were devoted to my maternal grandmother 3 days after her passing. (Custom Framed)
Red Bodysuit (Blues, White, Gold paint). 2019. This performance artifact was created through a live performance painting in Evora, Portugal. I was the artist in residence for an international live arts festival and performed for the community. (Custom Framed)
