Manhattan Candlelight
Manhattan Candlelight was created as a live performance painting at a private event in Manhattan in 2018. I was performing in an intimate setting where only 15-20 audience members could come watch at a time (300 attendees). The only lighting was candles and the real vibrancy of colors wasn't really observed until when I emerged with the painting in real light. It's as if I was creating the piece with my eyes closed, but the remarkable energy and spirals of the painting (6 panels) is dynamic and kinetically so perfect.
